Most heavy duty scissor lifts are designed from 2000kg (2 tonnes) up to 60,000kg (60 tonnes). Lifts beyond this require special consideration.

A Declaration of Conformity is issued with every lift manufactured by Saxon stating that they have been designed and manufactured to all applicable legal requirements including ISO 9000 etc.

Safety Features
Saxon utilizes a 3 point safety plan on all jobs, large or small. Whatever safety features are implimented in your project, they must conform to the 3 basic requirements.

1. Safety aspects implimented in design
2. Safety implimented in manufacture
3. Safety features implimented for end users

Some of the end user safety features may include;
(a) brakes for moving lifts
(b) controlled release for up or down lifting
(c) safety pins when the lift is under load
(d) remote controlled control units
(e) safety rails or skirting
(f) back up battery in case of power failure
(g) power failure alarm
