Platform Lifts

Platform Lifts come in all shapes and sizes.

The example on the right is to be used on aeroplane engines and so it is required that the lift can be adjusted so that it is perfectly flat and stable.

The lift platform must be able to access all parts of an Aero Engine under build and test.

• Due to space and other safety constraints, the lift must be manually propelled.
• It must be easily maneuverable on the smooth work area floor.
• It must have an OverReach facility to assist engineers working within the negine cowlings.
• It must be explosion proofed in case of possible aviation fuel spillage which resulted in any explosion.

In this specific instance it requires the wheels to be removed all together to eliminate any possibility of accidents.

Your platform lift may simply require that the wheels stay in place or that they can be retracted. These lifts can be built on rollers or wheels with electric motors to raise or lower as platform as required. Whatever you need, we can assist you.
